OEM/ODM & Engineering Support
OEM Supply Against an Approved Configuration
OEM supply uses an agreed product reference and specification to identify the ordered configuration. Electrical interface, optical rating and product identification remain tied to that configuration.
ODM Development from Drawings or Prototypes
Chermay accepts customer technical drawings or physical reference samples for 100G QSFP28 and 400G QSFP-DD AOC assemblies. These inputs establish cable construction and interface requirements for the proposed sample.
Host-System Assessment
Finished 100G QSFP28 optical active assemblies and 400G QSFP-DD AOC cables undergo functional testing on actual equipment. Pre-production AOC samples are also available for checking the specified host environment before volume production.

Technical Review
Check the request against available designs and identify the applicable technical constraints.

Specification Approval.
Approve the proposed configuration, drawing revision and project acceptance criteria.

Sample Preparation.
Prepare an evaluation unit where the requested configuration requires hardware or design approval.

Sample Evaluation
Evaluate the sample against agreed acceptance criteria before production release.

Production and Delivery
Confirm the approved revision, production quantity, packaging scope and shipment terms for the order.
Configuration Examples
25G Single-Fiber Uplink
For a 10 km link over one available single-mode fiber, the 25G SFP28 BiDi modules S-PB2523L10-CD and S-PB2532L10-CD form a complementary 1270/1330 nm pair. Both ends require matching transmit/receive wavelengths and compatible SFP28 host ports.
400G Duplex-LC Data Center Link
For a 2 km single-mode route using duplex LC, the 400G QSFP-DD FR4 design uses four CWDM channels at 1271, 1291, 1311 and 1331 nm. The selected module must match the QSFP-DD host port, optical power budget and applicable FEC requirements.
100G Custom-Length AOC Assembly
For switch-to-switch connections within a data hall, a QSFP28 100G AOC provides a fixed optical cable with integrated pluggable ends. Assembly length is specified from the physical cable route, and optional outer-label information can be defined for identification. Evaluation can be performed on the intended switch environment before volume release.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the minimum order quantity for customized products?
-
Orders start at 1,000 units.
What payment terms apply to custom orders?
-
A 50% deposit is required; the remaining 50% is due after product approval and before shipment.
What is the rated reach of the 25G SFP28 multimode module?
-
Model S-PP2585L03-CD supports 70 m on OM3 or 100 m on OM4 fiber.
Do 10G SFP+ modules provide digital diagnostic monitoring?
-
Yes. DDM reports optical power, module temperature, supply voltage and bias current.
