The CWDM MUX/DEMUX Module works in commercial temperature (0 to +70°C) and industrial temperature (-40 to +85°C). You can use it indoors or outdoors. The optical parts are made for CWDM. The CWDM MUX/DEMUX Module uses a CWDM laser (DFB or EML). It has a PIN or APD high-sensitivity detector. It supports all 18 standard CWDM wavelengths from 1270 nm to 1610 nm. The output power, extinction ratio, and sensitivity are excellent. The bit error rate is ≤10⁻¹².
