40Gbps QSFP+

The 40G QSFP+ Optical Transceiver comes in a full series for high-speed networks. It uses the standard hot-plug QSFP+ package. This 40Gbps QSFP+ works with IEEE 802.3bm and 802.3ba. It also follows SFF-8436 rules. The module runs on a single +3.3V power supply. It has an I2C digital interface for easy management. The metal case gives good EMI shielding. The 40Gbps QSFP+ meets RoHS standards. The operating temperature is 0°C to +70°C. Each channel runs at 10.3125 Gbps. The total bandwidth is 40 Gbps. The electrical parameters are stable. The differential impedance, jitter, and return loss are all within tight limits. This 40Gbps QSFP+ gives you clean signal transmission.

The 40G QSFP+ Optical Transceiver covers short, medium, and long distances. For short links, the 850nm VCSEL multi-mode version works with OM3 fiber. It gives you 100 m or 300 m. It uses an MPO connector. This is good for inside a data center. For medium links, the 1310nm DFB single-mode PSM4 version gives you 2 km over single-mode fiber. It is good for connections between buildings. For long links, the CWDM DFB single-mode LR4 and ER4 versions use a duplex LC connector. They give you 10 km, 20 km, or 40 km. All versions of the 40G QSFP+ Optical Transceiver use PIN receiver arrays. The optical power, sensitivity, and extinction ratio are excellent. The 40G QSFP+ Optical Transceiver is also low power. Multi-mode models use less than 1.5W. Single-mode models use less than 3.5W. This saves energy in your network.
